What are you doing to keep the house clean in light of COVID-19?
The safety of our guests is paramount. We follow a clear set of standards and heightened hygiene measures at The Bungalow.
We sanitise the bungalow before each guest arrives
Foot operated sanitiser stand dispensers are placed at strategic points.
Covid-19 Care kit is provided in the bungalow that will consist of a gel based hand sanitiser, a pack of disinfectant wipes and three masks.
While we are making every effort to create the safest and smoothest experience, the success will depend greatly on the support of our guests. Therefore, we ask for your cooperation as we navigate this period together.
Bungalow Guest: For the purposes of tracing, it’s important that we know who is spending time in The Bungalow. To keep track, we’ll be introducing Bungalow Guest, where guests will be asked to provide their contact details and sign an Undertaking.
If you’re feeling unwell: If you are unwell, please report immediately to the Manager.
Hygiene measures: Enhanced cleaning and sanitation will be implemented throughout our spaces, focusing on high-contact surfaces. Hand sanitiser will be provided throughout our spaces for guests and staff – and we ask you to use it regularly. We will also be implementing a no-touch policy, so no handshakes or high-fives for the moment.
Innovation: We are using technology to become as contactless as possible. Menus, wifi codes, House Rules, and other information will be available digitally (QR code).
Covid19 Care Kit: Covid Care Kit is provided in the bungalow that will consist of a gel based hand Sanitiser, a pack of disinfectant wipes and three masks.

What is the best time to visit Kodaikanal?
Kodai is known for its Summer and Fall seasons. Having said that, through the year, each month has its own charm! People love to visit especially during long weekends and school holidays all year round. In fact, we do recommend visiting during the off season since you get to experience Kodaikanal in all its peace and beauty with fewer people around.
What can I do in Kodaikanal?
There is so much to do in Kodaikanal! Spend your days unwinding and lounging around in our 1 acre property or get out and take in what the town has to offer. Visit our ‘Kodaikanal’ section for more inspiration.
How should I pack for my stay?
THE ESSENTIALS - Keep a light jacket handy through the day and some warm clothes for when the weather turns chilly. If you love the outdoors like we do, bring along your active wear that you can use while hiking in the forest or walking and cycling around the lake.
Are pets allowed?
No. We do not allow pets.

Can I cook in the Bungalow?
No. Cooking is not allowed in the in-house pantry. We have an in-house chef with a full fledged Bungalow kitchen to take care of all your needs.
Do you have car parking?
Yes. We’ve got Open Air Car Parking enough to accommodate 5 to 6 cars.
Do you provide food and accommodation for drivers and staff?
Yes we do. Home cooked meals will be served for your drivers and staff from the Bungalow’s main kitchen. We’ve got a cozy staff room with dormitory style beds for the drivers and staff to stay in.
What is your Check-in / Check-out policy?
The Check-in time is 2 pm and the check-out time is 10 a.m.
We try and accommodate early Check-ins and late Check-outs subject to availability. You can however drop off your bags in case you arrive early. Check-ins before 8 a.m. and Check-outs after 5 p.m. will entail a minimum of half day charges.
What is your cancellation policy?
GST at 18% will be applicable.
We understand that well planned holidays unfortunately have to be cancelled sometimes. In case of cancellations, the refund due to you as per policy will be credited to your bank account within 7 working days minus the payment gateway charges.
100% refund - 15 days or more prior to Check In date
75% refund - Between 5 - 15 days prior to Check In date
50% refund - Between 2 - 5 days prior to Check In date
0% refund - 2 days prior to Check In date
